The House will not proceed until the Prime Minister gives an explanation about the removal of Kulman: Speaker Dahal

The main opposition party Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the Parliament meeting cannot proceed until Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli gives an answer about the removal of Kulman Ghising as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. Speaking to reporters at Parliament House on Wednesday, President Dahal said that Kulman was removed by the government through fraud.

The House will not move until the Prime Minister comes to the rostrum and gives an answer. The Prime Minister should take it easy. He should come and explain. If the explanation is satisfactory, the house moves immediately. The explanation was also fraudulent, the movement will move forward,' said President Dahal.

Similarly, Dahal also objected to the statement made by RPP chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi that he negotiated with the formation of the Commission on Transitional Justice to remove Kulman. He said, 'Gyan Bahadur Shahi of RPP and others said - Wow! Prachanda exchanged Kulman with TRC. Can there be anything more false, dishonest and criminal propaganda than this?'

Mentioning that Prime Minister Oli has cheated once again, Dahal said, 'There was no obligation to go to Singh Darbar and do it immediately after the TRC was finished. It reminded me again of heaven and hell. Once again I felt that there was a very big trap. I am worried and sad.' Dahal also says that Kulman has done a good job as the executive director of

authority. 'We said about Kulman in public. He was on leave after 4/5 months. He has done a good job. Public opinion is also in his favor. On the day I left, no one discussed a single word about Kulman. Except for TRC, no one uttered a single word. But as soon as I left, a cabinet meeting was held and it was decided to remove Kulman,' he said.
