The meeting of the ruling and main opposition parties is being held at Singh Darbar on Monday afternoon. Three top leaders of Congress, UML and Maoists are going to hold a meeting to finalize the rest of the peace process.

The main preparations are to appoint officials in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission for the Investigation of Missing Citizens. Although the laws related to both commissions have been made, the work has not been able to proceed due to the lack of appointment of officials. Three parties are preparing to share in the appointment of commission officials.

Similarly, there will be an informal discussion between the three parties about the wave that the royalist demonstration has brought to the country. The subject of their discussion is to create a minimum common ground between the three parties in favor of the constitution and democracy.

According to a leader, the government  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has adopted a policy of speeding up daily service delivery, not deciding on major disputes, and cooperating with opposition parties on national issues. The main opposition party Maoist Chairman Dahal has adopted a policy of pressuring the government to do good work, demonstrating in favor of the federal republic, and if necessary, forming a common opinion among the major parties.
