President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is an achievement that the people of Nepal have exchanged with blood and that no alternative can be thought of.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the newly constructed administrative building of Solukhumbu's Nechasalyan Rural Municipality on Monday, President Paudel said that under the current system, every citizen can be an owner and everyone should emphasize on its strengthening.  He says that this system has given citizens the right to punish those who do bad things by staying in the

regime. "It is the responsibility of all of us, including the government and political parties, to strengthen the governance system and make the Nepalese people feel that their destiny and future is assured through this system," he said.

Freedom and governance system is the demand of the time and the desire of the people, he said that any despotism and anarchy outside the constitution made by the Nepali people will not be acceptable. "History is a witness - be it the 104-year-old Jahanian Rana rule or 30-year-old Panchayat or active monarchy, the Nepali people did not like the name and remnants of any autocracy," he said, "We did not get the federal democratic republic." This is the achievement of thousands of sacrifices, struggles and sacrifices.'
