Congress General Minister Vishwaprakash Sharma has said that the government has taken a wrong step by removing Kulman Ghisingh as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. On Monday evening, through social media, General Minister Sharma also said that there was no consensus among Congress officials to remove Kulman.

General Minister Sharma says that the government removed Kulman to overshadow the good work done by the government. 'There was no consensus of the Congress officials to remove Kulman Ghising from the post. They were warned internally and publicly not to let them work for the rest of the term and not to remove them. If there was something actionable, it could have been done later. The government should not remove Kulman to overshadow some good efforts. This decision of the government was not timely. There is open and clear opposition to this,' he wrote.

The government has appointed Hitendradev Shakya as the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority. The Council of Ministers held on Monday removed Kulman Ghising and appointed Shakya.
