Pathibhara cable car dispute should be resolved through dialogue and dialogue: Janardhan Sharma

Deputy General Secretary of the Maoist Center and former Minister Janardan Sharma has said that the Pathibhara cable car dispute should be resolved through dialogue and negotiation. Sharma, who came to Taplejung for the municipal convention of Paktanglung Village Committee, said this at a press conference held at the headquarters of Fungling on Saturday morning.

He pointed out that the government is taking the initiative to negotiate to resolve the cable car dispute and emphasized that it should be speeded up. "I have found that the government is taking the initiative to negotiate," said Sharma, "It should be resolved through dialogue and dialogue and it should be concluded soon."

Commenting on the behavior of the government towards the director of the Ministry of Energy, Kulman Ghising, he said that it was wrong. "Unnecessary comments are made about who appointed us and when," he said, "This is not a good trend. Those who do good work should be called good.'

Although Sharma did not praise Ghising openly, he recalled that when he was the energy minister, he made Nepal free of load shedding, and noted that the secretary of the energy ministry, Anup Kumar Upadhyay, played an important role at that time. 'Anupakumarji was very capable in implementing my vision,' he said, 'We formed a team of many friends and worked for reforms in the energy sector and appointed Kulmanji. Everyone has taken it positively.'

He said that he was excited to see the progress of the Tamor Corridor, which was started by allocating 6 billion rupees when he was the finance minister. He used this route from Dharan to Taplejung and expressed his belief that this road will create great opportunities in Eastern Nepal.
