Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Everest Dialogue to be organized by Nepal is a forum to talk about measures to protect glaciers.

On the occasion of 'World Glacier Day', which is going to be celebrated for the first time on March 21, Prime Minister Oli has expressed his happiness that Nepal can be a part of it.

"I am happy to be a part of the 2025 World Glacier Day as decided by the United Nations," he said through a message, "The Everest dialogue is an international dialogue". Therefore, this dialogue organized by Nepal aims to find ways to protect Him River.'

In the same context, Oli has invited international concerned bodies to participate in the whole process of this dialogue.

'Glaciers are the source of life for humans, animals and plants . Glaciers have saved millions of lives. This is the hope of our life," he said, "The glaciers of Nepal are famous as the third pole and water tower all over the world. So let's save the glacier and save ourselves .'
