Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) chairman Ravi Lamichhane has filed a petition in the Patan High Court against the bail demand order of the Kathmandu District Court.

In the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case of Kathmandu, on January 2nd, the bench of District Court Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari demanded a bail of 60 lakh rupees from Lamichhane.

Lamichhane has filed a petition in the High Court with the demand of cancellation saying that he did not understand the order. He has demanded that he should be released on a simple date.

Lamichhane is accused of taking the funds of Swarnalaxmi Sahakari to Gorkha Media Network.
