Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the construction of a horse road is underway to reach the remote village of Changru in Darchula.

He said this while speaking during the question and answer program with the MPs at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday. He said that according to the demands of the locals, a budget of five crores has been released for road construction. He said that after the construction of the road is completed, there is no need to use the road of the neighboring country to go to the territory of his country.

He said, 'From the headquarters of Darchula, Khalanga, there are villages in Nepal including Changru. The government of Nepal knows that there is no way to go to Changru, not now, not since history. In this regard, if the people there demand that they should not go through the road of another country for the time being, so that their country can go through their own way, then the budget would be 50 million instead of how much budget is needed for the time being. He said that because the province is difficult, work is being done to bring roads to all the headquarters through the Nepali Army.
