In the RPP meeting, a strong opinion was presented that the party should not be mixed in anyone's campaign. RPP leaders have expressed a clear opinion that they cannot go to the movement by collaborating with the group of medical professional Durga Prasai, who is especially involved in the royalist movement. The executive committee meeting of the RPP held on Tuesday has decided to continue its movement under the leadership of President Rajendra Lyngden for the restoration of the monarchy and the Hindu nation.
RPP has decided to go for a separate movement the day after Prasain and some royalists announced a committee under the leadership of former president of Rashtriya Panchayat Navraj Subedi for the movement. In the
meeting, the leaders were of the view that Prasain's activities were apolitical and that they could not cooperate with him due to his behavior of insulting political parties and leaders. The leaders said that Prasain did not accept the leadership of RPP. Their analysis was that by separating the old leader of the party, Subedi, and forming the Jan Andolan Committee and using other senior leaders, they were active in weakening the Prasain RPP.
RPP senior leader Prakashchandra Lohani criticized Prasai's behavior in the meeting and said that cooperation is not possible. Lohani has also been placed in the Subedi-led committee. He was present at the meeting called in Dillibazar on Monday to form the committee. "Party leaders were present, but Prasain was abusing us in front of us," Lohani said in the meeting, "His attitude is apolitical. There is no reliable environment to cooperate with him. Another senior leader of RPP, Pashupatishamsher Rana said that he was ready to accept the decision of the party as the most important.
Senior Vice President Ravindra Mishra and General Minister Dhavalshamsher Rana were more active in forming a committee led by Subedi and were criticized in the meeting for supporting Prasai. The party's senior vice-president and member of the House of Representatives, Roshan Karki, questioned whether Rana, the coordinator of the party's agitation mobilization committee, had taken the same responsibility in the committee led by Subedi. In the meeting, leaders also raised questions about the role of Senior Vice President Mishra in preparing the concept of the Subedi-led Jan Andolan Committee.
RPP Treasurer Neelkanth Kafle said that the leaders involved in mixing the party in a campaign should self-examine. Leaders Mishra and Rana appeared defensive throughout the meeting. President Lingden had said that two representatives from the party had been sent to the meeting after Rajawadi's request. There was no general inquiry about that representative. However, the senior leaders of the party were active there," he said in the meeting, "I was placed as a member of the committee without asking me and without asking any opinion from the party representative. I immediately rejected it.'
Lingden said that efforts to weaken the role played by RPP for years to make people aware, to fight on the street and in the House front are not acceptable. Mentioning that the party is dominant in the party system, the leaders were of the opinion that the leadership of the movement should be led by the RPP.
