UML MP Thakur Gayre has said that Energy Minister Deepak Khadka and Executive Director of Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising have conflicted about power supply in Nepal. MP Gayreka said that the energy minister kept saying that there would be lead shedding and the executive director said that it would not happen.

In Thursday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Gayre objected to the spread of misleading information from the government. "The minister says there is lead-shedding, the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority says to be sure there is no lead-shedding. What is the message that the government is trying to convey with such an expression?', Gayre said, 'It will lead the country to another direction. SEE is running. Industry should be run.'  Gayre said that the government is spreading confusion about the need to solve the

problem. "At a time like this, we need to solve the problem of how to manage electricity, and to reassure the people, we will not get a discount by conveying ambivalent and confusing messages," he said.

Gayre asked Minister Khadka and Executive Director Ghising to stop sending different information about the ladeshedding. He suggested solving the problems arising in the electricity sector.

MP Gayre also objected to Minister Khadka's statement that India should be given money for ending leadseeding in Nepal. The Minister of Energy repeatedly said that India should be given the opportunity to end lead shedding in Nepal. "India buys Nepal's electricity, Nepal buys India's electricity, this is a matter of business," Gayre said.
