Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is committed to complete the rest of the peace process.

Speaking in the question and answer program with the parliamentarians at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli said that the government is sensitive and serious about the need for justice for the victims of the conflict period and their families as soon as possible. He informed that the Disappearance and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071 has been amended for the third time and promised to start the appointment process of officials of the Investigation Commission of Disappeared Persons and Truth and Reconciliation Commission as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Oli said, 'The government is sensitive and serious about the fact that the people who suffered due to the conflict period and their families should get justice as soon as possible. In the process of completing the remaining work of the peace process, the Investigation, Disappearance and Reconciliation Commission of Disappeared Persons Act, 2071 has been amended in consultation with the general stakeholders. We have passed this convention. Also, the process of appointing officials of the Commission of Inquiry on Disappeared Persons and the Commission for Truth and Reconciliation will be started soon. The government is fully committed to completing the rest of the peace process.'

Prime Minister Oli also said that the government is determined to bring justice to the conflict victims.
