The Thursday meeting of the House of Representatives passed the Economic Procedure and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill by a majority.
In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel proposed that the "Economic Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 be passed" and the said bill was passed with the approval of the majority.
MPs proposed amendments to the bill. But all but two amendments were rejected by the majority. Now this bill will be sent to the National Assembly for discussion.
