Village chairman Shivji Yadav, organizer Bajrangi Baba and pre-ward president Dilip Yadav demolished the house of local Deepak Mallik, who has been living there for 30 years, with the village bulldozer.

The Mallik family, who were evicted from there for being 'untouchable', are now living in a temporary tent on the land of the community school in the village.
