CPN Ekta National Campaign Coordinator and National Assembly MP Vamdev Gautam has said that it is clear that UML has offered him to join the party to prevent him from going to the Unified Socialist Party.
In the Parliament building on Wednesday, Gautam expressed his understanding about the proposal from UML to join the party. He said that he got an offer from the UML after he found out that he had decided to join the United Socialist Party. "There was a kind of agreement that we would go to the Socialist Party. Even though there was no decision, the mind had already become that way . At that time, a proposal came from the UML,' said Gautam, 'that proposal was to prevent Vamdev from going towards the United Socialist Party.'
MP Gautam said that he will not join any party now. He said that instead of going to a party immediately, he would reform himself. He said that the campaign to unify the Communists through the people has become old and now it will be a personal effort instead of a campaign.
