The parliamentary committee has instructed the government to re-delimit the intermediate zone. Committee Chairperson Vimala Subedi informed that the Wednesday meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee under the House of Representatives instructed the government to re-delimit the intermediate area.

The committee discussed the conflict between people, wildlife and forest staff in the intermediate area and the need to re-delimit the intermediate area. Speaker Subedi said that the human rights of the people living in the central area should be taken care of. Giving instructions on behalf of the

committee, Chairperson Subedi said, 'The conflict between people, wildlife and forest staff in the intermediate area and the re-demarcation of the intermediate area and the issue of human rights of the people living in the intermediate area will be directed to the Ministry of Forests and Environment.
