The United People's Movement Committee, which was formed under the leadership of Purpanch Navraj Subedi with the aim of restoring the monarchy, has been in controversy since the beginning. It has been claimed that a committee has been formed to lead the unified movement by rounding up the royalists. But some members of the committee disagreed with that.

The fact that 86-year-old former Panchayat Subedi, who was the leader of the Panchayat and the President of the National Panchayat, was given the leadership of the movement, there is dissatisfaction among the political parties who have been advocating for the Rajsanstha and doing mass mobilization for it for years. Subedi is a popular politician throughout the Panchayat period. He was also a minister many times. 

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa, who are members of the 11-member committee led by Subedi, have expressed their dissatisfaction. RPP and RPP Nepal are the parties that have been raising the issue of restoration of the monarchy. It is understood by both parties that Purvanpanch has been given the leadership of the movement to marginalize the political party established among the people by the businessman Durga Prasai.  Former minister Keshar Bahadur Bista, who is a member of the

committee, has also announced that he will not hold the post. "I have no objection to Andonal but it does not mean that I should sit in a committee for that," he said to Kantipur, "When I arrived at the meeting, the committee had already been formed. I have come not to keep me.' 

RPPA Chairman Lingden said that when the committee was formed under the leadership of Subedi, there was no discussion with them. "I came to know from the news that the United People's Movement Committee has been announced. I am not present there," he said to Kantipur. "We sent a representative after the news that we should hold a meeting of those who believe in the Raj Sanstha. But the committee has been announced without consulting our representatives. On behalf of the party, Vice President Hemjang Gurung and Pradeep Uday were sent to the meeting. Lingden says that he cannot sit in the committee that is not included in the discussion process. 

RPP has called a performance committee meeting on Tuesday. A leader said that the party's official decision will be made from there. 

World Hindu Federation President Asmita Bhandari, who is a member of the Subedi-led committee, said that there was a search for a common person to lead the movement and during that process, Subedi was brought. "The committee was announced after almost everyone agreed to go under his leadership," she said, "it is not complete." After further discussion, it has been said that the committee will be made more mature. She also said that the program of the movement has yet to be decided after the meeting of the committee. 

The members of the Jan Andolan Steering Committee formed under the coordination of Subedi are Keshar Bahadur Bista, Durga Prasain, Pashupatishamsher Rana, Kamal Thapa, Prakashchandra Lohani, Rajendra Lingden, Asmita Bhandari, Rama Singh and Hari Bahadur Basnet. Ravindra Mishra has been made the member secretary of the committee. Dhavalshamsher Rana has been designated as the coordinator of the movement mobilization committee. Lingden and Thapa were absent from the gathering of former royalists at the food house in Dillibazar on Monday afternoon. 

Committee coordinator Subedi has said that it was decided to hold the joint public movement under the national flag and not the party or group. We want a monarchy based on the supremacy of the people. We are in favor of peace and non-violence," said a statement issued by Subedi. "Considering our peace-loving as a weakness, the big parties started countering on the basis of this, and the cost may be very high." Former king Gyanendra Shah was welcomed by royalist political parties and organizations when he returned from Pokhara on February 25. After seeing the crowd present at the reception of the former king, the royalists were excited.

You returned to politics long ago, why? 

Seeing the condition of the country. is sick I want to be active so that I can do something for the country. I took it after my friends told me not to take the lead. Although I am 86 years old, I am physically healthy. 

Why did you leave RPP first?  The reason for the

is obvious. It is not possible to be a member of one party to unite all groups and all parties. That's why I left the RPP membership. I am the founder of RPP.

You are preparing for a movement, for what? 

The main objective is to bring the king. Apart from that, the movement's objectives are to establish a Hindu nation, to destroy federalism, to punish the corrupt and to maintain good governance.

What movement are you doing? 

The committee has been formed with the aim that all parties should be involved, and that the movement should be shared by all. Not under the leadership of any particular party, we are all united under the national flag. There is a movement with the national flag. We will hold a meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) and discuss the movement. We will bring the movement program from Chait 15.  With the announcement of the
