Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba and Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Minister Rana, who was in New Delhi to participate in the Raisina Dialogue program organized by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, and Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar had a meeting. Minister Rana's secretariat said that during the meeting, they discussed various issues of Nepal-India historical bilateral relations, common interests and mutual benefits between the two countries. During the
meeting, Minister Rana said that Nepal attaches great importance to its relations with India and that Nepal is always willing to cooperate with India for the common interests of both countries in the future. The recent bilateral meetings, exchange of visits and mutual cooperation between Nepal and India as well as the progress made in the field of trade transit and water resource development between the two countries were also discussed in the meeting.
