The ruling Congress MP Ramkrishna Yadav has expressed his displeasure for not holding the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee under the House of Representatives.
In Tuesday's meeting of the Accounts Committee, Yadav, who is also the former chairman of the Accounts Committee, said that people are getting frustrated because the meeting is not held on time.
At the beginning of the committee meeting, MP Yad expressed his displeasure with Chairman Rishikesh Pokharel saying that the meeting was not called. "The Accounts Committee has also become like zero time of the House of Representatives." "There is a situation where things are put in the committee but that matter is not implemented," he said to Chairman Pokharel, "The meeting of the committee is like Tihar and the Pandit is going to hold one day in a month and one day in two months." Yadav said that by not holding a meeting of the
committee, a negative message is being sent to the public. "People are disappointed with the committee," he said.
Yadav said that there is a problem if the committee meeting which is in the form of a mini parliament is not held frequently. The previous meeting of the Audit Committee was held on February 9.
Chairman of the committee Pokharel said that it cannot be said that the meeting of the sub-committee has not been held.
