The Tilganga Eye University Bill was passed by the National Assembly on Monday. The meeting unanimously passed the proposal that 'Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081 should be passed' presented by Education, Science and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai.
Discussion on the Bill In response to the questions raised by the parliamentarians, Minister Bhattarai said that the Tilganga Eye University Bill was introduced because there is a need to expand the access to quality education and eye health services in the field of eye (eye) health towards medical education in higher education in Nepal . He said that it is necessary to establish a public university as an excellent academic center in the field of eye health services.
Parliamentarians welcomed the Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081 during the discussion. The MPs believed that the bill would help in the expansion of eye care services.
Parliamentarian Gopi Bahadur Sarki Achami said that the bill will be a good treatment in the field of eye treatment in the coming days . MP Maya Prasad Sharma said that this bill is timely. 'This has been discussed with stakeholders. There is no need to bear the financial burden financially. This bill is appropriate,' he said .
MP Suresh Kumar Alemgar said that it is good to establish a university on the subject of eye health, while MP Padam Bahadur Pariyar said that the bill, which has been discussed in depth, will help to expand eye health services. He said, 'The bill is good because it will provide simple, easy and accessible treatment services while expanding the eye treatment services . But for some time the university should be left to work independently.'
