RPP leader arrested for burning photo of former Prime Minister Dahal

Nirajan Bam, Secretary of National Democratic Youth Organization Central Committee, close to Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has been arrested by the police for burning a photo of former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Hetaunda on Saturday.  Chitwan police arrested the bomber who was going to Kathmandu from Bharatpur airport on Sunday.

Police are bringing the bomb to Makwanpur district police office. The police did not reveal who filed the complaint against the bomb. Makwanpur Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal has confirmed that Bam was arrested in Chitwan.  

Spokesperson Aryal says that the act of burning the former prime minister's photo was wrong and a criminal act. At the opening program of the convention of the National Democratic Youth Organization Makwanpur in Hetaunda on Saturday, in the presence of federal MP Deepak Bahadur Singh, a bomb burnt the photo of former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

The National Democratic Youth Organization has issued a statement in protest against the arrest of the bomb. The organizer of the organization, Sujit KC, issued a statement and accused the government of obstructing the personal freedom of citizens by arresting Bomb.
