Communications and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung has said that after becoming a minister, he has not been able to do what he expected.
He said this while addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
He said that although he felt that it had been 4/5 months since he became a minister, it has been 8 months, but he has not been able to proceed with the plans as expected. I don't know what happened. It seemed like it had been 4/5 months. It's been 8 months now. He says he became a minister on the 31st of June. I won't say that I haven't broken the sinkai in these 8 months. But the project I was looking for didn't happen," he said, "when I reviewed myself. The telecom industry should be promoted well. The IT industry should also be organized and made better.
Minister Gurung said that there will be no compromise on promoting people's right to information and enhancing people's freedom of expression. He said that a bill related to social media has been introduced to control the criminal activities through social media.
