We will warn against the conspiracies of the regressive forces by taking millions of people to the streets: President Dahal

Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that millions of people will take to the streets to warn against the conspiracies of regressive and reactionary forces. He says that the regressive elements mixed in the fabric of history are trying to fish in murky waters.

While inaugurating the sixth national conference of Magar Rashtriya Mukti Morcha Nepal held in Butwal on Wednesday, President Dahal also said that the frustration and dissatisfaction of the people is increasing due to the unbridled activities of the current ruling coalition in favor of corrupt people and middlemen. He made it clear that his party is ready to do any kind of struggle with all the transformative forces and the people to protect and strengthen the republican system.

'Now the need is to protect the rights that the people have acquired,' he said, 'no one should think of going backwards to forward-looking agendas such as a directly elected executive head and a fully proportional election system.'

Dahal also says that Maoists have the responsibility to ensure the rights of the people.  Regressive elements are trying to attack the system, while the corrupt and brokers are trying to take away the rights of the people under various pretexts. We will not allow this to happen,' he said.

Chairman Dahal informed that the party has decided for the first time about the relationship between the ethnic regional front and the socialist revolution, saying that the oppressed community has a historic and decisive role in political change.

'Yesterday, during the democratic revolution, the concept of the right to self-determination, ethnic regional front was important, but now it seemed like confusion for a while whether it is important in the socialist revolution,' he said, 'Our recently concluded central committee meeting concluded that it is even more necessary during the socialist revolution.'

He said that he has adopted a policy of strengthening all ethnic regional fronts while awakening the inactive fronts. "Now we will gradually activate all the fronts through gatherings," he said.
