At today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the question of the quorum has been raised while the process of presenting the replacement bill is underway. However, it has been confirmed that a quorum has been reached after the three-minute signal bell.

In the meeting, Maoist chief whip Hitraj Pandey asked to confirm the number by stating that one fourth of the number of members present should be present to submit any proposal for decision.

After he raised a question that the number was insufficient, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana rang the bell for three minutes and instructed the secretariat to determine the quorum. After the bell, Deputy Speaker Rana proceeded with the meeting by informing that it was confirmed that the number present was 95, whereas according to the current number, one quarter of the number should be 69.
