UML's Sunita Baral, who is leading the government, has demanded the establishment of a public issue research center to make the role of people's representatives effective.
MP Baral mentioned that the psychology of people's representatives is factual, popular work, and gathering discussion rather than prioritizing needs-based work. Baral said that the public issue research center is necessary, saying that the work of public representatives is being affected when they engage themselves more in discussions.
'Parliament Secretariat has also felt the need to do more reliable and effective work, and today the Government of Nepal has decided to centralize public issues through a research center and by establishing a public issue research center to coordinate with law-making to draw attention to doing more effective work I want,' Baral said.
