Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has discussed with the people's representatives of the valley about the plans that must be included in the upcoming budget. On Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Singh held discussions with mayors and deputy mayors of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur at the Ministry of Urban Development.

He expressed the opinion of the chief and deputy chief about how to make the valley an orderly and livable city, how to improve the river system of the valley, how to solve the problem of garbage and traffic management.

Deputy Prime Minister Singh emphasized that the three levels of government should work together to make the valley clean and clean and the river flowing here clean. He said that a septic tank campaign should be conducted to clean the river system of the valley.

'The river flowing in the valley had to be cleaned . For that, we have to start a campaign to make a safety tank to remove the stench that is present now . Now  Septic  Tank should be built in every house . Wherever the house is built, if there is no space, even if it is in one place of 10/15 houses, it should be built," Deputy Prime Minister Singh said, "The water level is decreasing in the valley. Ground water harvesting and safety tank campaigns are necessary to increase it.'

He said that since taking over the Ministry of Urban Development, even though billions have been spent on Bagmati and Dhobikhola, he has been questioning why there was a weakness in planning and correcting it, he has asked to proceed with the necessary work to prevent direct mixing of sewage.
