After coming from Dang to Kathmandu for 37 days, the Mohi farmers who have been on strike for the past 37 days have started falling ill. Three people have been admitted to the hospital after falling sick while sitting on the road. Others are suffering from fever and cold.

Pravin Dahit, Joint Secretary of Swargadwari Guthipidit Mohi Kisan Sangharsh Samiti Dang, said that some of them who were sitting on the dharna were sick with fever, cold and other symptoms.

39 Mohi farmers from Dang have been on sit-in since January 20 at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu. Farmers who have acquired rights to the land of Swargadwari Ashram have come to Kathmandu and are holding a dharna demanding their rights.

'Yesterday a friend Savitra Chaudhary fell during the dharna. Now he is admitted to the hospital. Dahit said, "Two more friends are in the hospital due to fever." 9 friends are resting after a normal check-up.

They came to Kathmandu to put pressure on the central government after their demands were not heard after protesting in Ghorahi for a long time. Dahit said, 'After coming to Kathmandu, it will become a topic of debate, the government will look closely and we have come to Kathmandu to help in drafting laws. But friends started getting sick.

The government promised to meet the demand through negotiations and agreed to start the process of drafting a new unified Guthi law immediately, but their demand has not been met. This time they are ready to return only after fulfilling the demand.

The Supreme Court has ordered that Swargadwari Guthi cannot be fragmented as it is a private Guthi of a special nature. Farmers are agitating that they have been tilling the land for three generations and have not received the right even though they have proof that they have Mohi rights.

On 14th March 2062, the Supreme Court issued an order stating that 'Swargadwari Guthi is a private Guthi of a special nature and the land registered in the name of the Ashram should not be fragmented and embezzled in any way so as to affect the autonomy of the Ashram'.

Mohi farmers demand that Swargadwari Guthi should be mentioned as a private Guthi of a special nature in the Guthi Bill instead of looking at all the Guthi from the same point of view. In the bill, which was stopped due to opposition, the agitating farmers demand that Mohiani rights should be established on the land of Swargadwari Guthi and that the land should be distributed accordingly.
