The National Democratic Party (RPPA) submitted the fines set by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. RPP has paid a fine of one lakh rupees to the Metropolitan Corporation today.
During the reception of former King Gyanendra Shah on Sunday, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City imposed fines for littering in Tribhuvan International Airport Gate Complex, Tilganga, Gaushala and other areas.
RPPA spokesperson and MP Gyanendra Shahi posted a photo on Facebook and wrote, 'We believe in RPPA good governance and we believe in the rule of law . Millions of parents, brothers and sisters who came to welcome the king must have stepped on something on the way. We accept the decision of the Metropolitan Municipality. We have deposited Rs 1 lakh in the account of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality.' 
The metropolis sent a letter on Sunday and mentioned that 'persons participating in the program organized by the party office have been fined one lakh in accordance with the Garbage Management Act, 2068, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Environment and Natural Resources Protection Act, 2077 and the Economic Act of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 2081, for polluting the environment by causing physical damage to the roads, road beds and islands and soma plants in the public areas including the airport, Tilganga, Gaushala, as well as physical damage to the railings and littering.
