Inspector General of Police Basant Bahadur Kunwar has said that revenue leakage and cheating incidents in the border area are major challenges. While inaugurating the District Police Office building in Rautahat's headquarters Gaur on Monday, Inspector General of Police Kunwar said that revenue leakage in the border area is a major challenge.
"It is not possible to stop such incidents only with the single efforts of the police," he said, adding that all citizens also have a responsibility. The police needs everyone's help. He said that religious and social differences, heinous crimes, drugs, suicides, crimes against women and children are also a challenge in the district.
Kunwar instructed to keep the relations with the citizens smooth and work by keeping the work of the service users as the center of priority. He informed that there are 395 police units in Madhesh province and 100 of them are on other people's land.
Police chief of Madhesh province DIG Lalamani Acharya said that no effort will be spared to maintain peace and security in the province and there will be no compromise with anyone in the case of crime. District Police Chief SP Dilip Ghimir claimed that there has been a decrease in law and order and crime incidents in the district recently.
