Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) and former deputy prime minister and home minister, will appear in the Kaski district court on Sunday for the second date.

From Kathmandu, he has gone to Pokhara with his wife Nikita Paudel. Today, he appeared in the Kaski District Court and will appear in the Rupandehi District Court on Monday for a date.

Lamichhane, who was arrested on November 2 in connection with the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud investigation, was released on December 25 on a bond of 65 lakhs from the Kaski District Court.

 Similarly, the Kathmandu District Court released Lamichhane on January 2 with a bail of 60 lakhs in the Swarnalakshmi cooperative fraud case.

On the other hand, in the case of misappropriation of the savings of the Supreme Cooperative of Butwal, Lamichhane was released from Rupandehi District Court on January 13 after paying a bond of Rs 1 crore. Similarly, on January 25, Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Society's savings scam was released after paying a bond of Rs. 54 lakh.

An investigation is being conducted against him in the case of misappropriation of the savings of the small step cooperative of Birganj.
