Chief Minister Thapa may have made the statement without knowing about Executive Director Ghisingh: Minister Khadka

The Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has said that Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa may have made the statement without knowing about the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising.

Congress General Minister Thapa expressed that the government is trying to remove Ghisingh and that Minister Khadka is doing a bad job.

In response to a question asked by Kantipur about party general minister Thapa's statement regarding executive director Ghisingh, Minister Khadka said, 'I also heard him . He may have expressed without knowing about Ghising. After becoming the Chief Minister, something might have come up about Ghising, something might have arisen and you might have expressed your opinion,' Minister Khadka said.

Minister Khadka said that he had no discussion with the Congress General Minister regarding Ghising. Minister Khadka said that he has been informing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Party Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba about the work of his ministry and the same has been done about Ghising. "I will inform the Prime Minister and the Party Chairman about everything under his ministry." I have informed the Prime Minister and the party chairman about this matter (regarding Kulman Ghising), I have informed them about what happened,' he said.

On Saturday, Congress General Minister Thapa expressed that the government is struggling with the executive director Kulman Ghising, who has been in office for 5 months. Thapa said that after his tenure, another person should be appointed and the government is behind one person.

He said, "There is an electricity authority under the Ministry of Energy". We are hearing the executive director case. I can't understand, is it evil? Is the style not enough? He will be retired in three-four months, and after his retirement, he will bring suitable people to lead the organization . It seems that the government is after one person. It seems to be struggling . Such things are not right, not appropriate . No minister should be involved in such unwanted work.'

Chief Minister Thapa said - It is not right for the government to argue with Kulman

Stating that if the minister makes a mistake, the Prime Minister should stop him, Thapa said, 'If the ministers engage in unwanted activities, it is the duty of the Prime Minister to stop them . The Prime Minister is the master of the cabinet, he gets the credit for good work and he has to take responsibility for bad work.'

Minister Khadka said that if someone does something wrong, he can be removed even if he has a one-month tenure and not five months. "If you think that something has gone wrong, it may not be a matter of months, but it may be a matter of hours," he said.

Similarly, Minister Khadka also said that the issue of taking action against Ghising has reached the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
