Tribhuvan University has requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to take action against those who vandalized the offices of the Rector and Dean.

A group of students vandalized the office of Rector Khadge KC and Dean Shankar Khanal of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies on Saturday. Officials complain that even though they have informed the cell at the headquarters of the police, which oversees the elections, no action has been taken regarding the vandalism.

"The University is of the opinion that the vandalism of the Rector's office and the Dean's office by any group or individual is an unforgivable crime, terrorizing the regular employees of the university during office hours," the statement said.

Aneraswaviyu has also issued a statement and condemned the vandalism. President Samik Badal issued a statement and protested and condemned the vandalism of the Rector's and Dean's offices.

"Aneraswabiyu demands that the chaotic group involved in vandalism be immediately prosecuted and brought to the legal court and for the certainty of the election of the Swabiyu under any circumstances," the statement said.

After it was found that the students of Navysangh were involved in vandalism, the Navysangh University Unit Committee issued a statement and claimed that there was no official involvement of the organization in the vandalism.
