Maoist Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached the ancestral house of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah. Dahal, who reached Mahottari during the 'Maoist Tarai-Madhesh Awakening Campaign with the People', reached Balen's house in Ekdara Rural Municipality-2 on Thursday.

A welcome program was held for the team with Dahal at Balen's ancestral house on Thursday. The Ekdara Rural Municipality of Mahottari welcomed the campaign team including former Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Dahal's Secretariat said.

Mayor Shah's ancestral house is now being used by the rural municipality. Dahal gave his speech in the welcome program and gave the message that everyone will build the country together. He said, 'Let's protect rights together, let's build a country.'
