Chairman of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the rights of all classes will be ensured only in democracy.
He said this while addressing the program of the Nepal Ex-Servicemen's Association at the party central office Sanepa on Thursday. He said that realizing that there is a problem in the Nepal Ex-Servicemen's Association, he is taking the initiative to solve it. He also informed that he is talking to the government about the Gorkha recruitment center. He promised to advance matters at the diplomatic level to solve the problem of Gorkha recruitment.
Chairman Deuba said, 'It is not that there are no friends' problems in the Nepal Ex-Servicemen's Association. I am clear on this. Talks are going on with the government about the Gorkha recruitment center. Taking suggestions from friends, the matter will be taken forward at the diplomatic level to solve the problem in the days to come.'
He said that the contribution of ex-servicemen to the establishment and re-establishment of democracy and every democratic movement in Nepal is important.
He said, 'I am aware of the difference in pensions among Nepali Bhupu soldiers. We will continue to solve the problem. Rights of all classes are guaranteed only in democracy. If all fraternal and benevolent organizations are strong, our Nepali Congress Party will be strong. Nepal can become a prosperous country only if the Nepali Congress is a strong party. I request you to pay special attention to this.
