This year's Remembrance Dahal Memorial Journalism Award has been given to Rajkumar Karki, Sindhuli Correspondent from Kantipur. Shaheed Yakkan Dahal Memorial Foundation awarded a cash prize of 5,000 on Thursday.
President of the Foundation and Dahal's father Sesharaj Dahal and organizer Aneraswaviyu Sindhuli honored correspondent Karki with an award. Karki has been honored for contributing to the field of social transformation through
journalism. 32 years ago in the year 2049, a 14-year-old student studying in class 10, Mejkan Dahal, was shot dead by the police during the protest against the Tanakpur Treaty.
