The 'Privatization (First Amendment) Ordinance' has been approved by the House of Representatives. The ordinance was approved by the majority in the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Wednesday. The notice to reject the ordinance was rejected by the majority.

Then Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel presented a proposal for approving the ordinance. The proposal was passed by the majority. Now, if this ordinance is approved by the National Assembly, the way will be open for the government to introduce a replacement bill in place of the ordinance.
