Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that everyone should do what they can from their area to build the country. He said this while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 78th foundation day of trade union movement on Tuesday.
He said that it will not take time to become a country if we can help by doing what we can from our place. He said that it is sad that there is a practice of not allowing those who do good work to do good work by opposing them.
He expressed his concern that the practice of falsely accusing those who do good work and not allowing them to work is developing . He claimed that he had done one hundred and one historical works even when he became the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Oli said, "There is a kind of wave in Nepal that if someone tries to do good work, they oppose it, make false accusations, oppose it". If a government tries to do a little bit of work, it will not be allowed to do it . If he is in the government, he will pretend. Time passes in drama. If the other tries to do it, oppose it, think how it can be made to fail . Before this, when I joined the government, one hundred and one historical works have been done in the government led by me.'
He said that even now he is conducting online operations targeting the youth to end the situation where only 48 percent of the students who give SEE will pass. He asserted that he is personally working with the aim of achieving at least 60 percent results this time and that more than one lakh students are participating.
He said, 'Infrastructure construction matters, development matters, education sector, other matters too . Even now, keeping in mind the SEE, I am conducting it personally by asking the youth personally and giving online classes to more than 100,000 SEE students so that they do not have a situation of passing only 48% . There is great support and participation from the youth. This time I have aimed to achieve at least 60% results . We should not only look at the government, we should all do whatever we can to build the country.'
He warned that they should not be employed by paying wages below the minimum wage and that action would be taken if found. Remuneration Under no circumstances will wages below the minimum wage be given .
