Maoist Deputy General Secretary Varshman Pun has said that his party is not in favor of caste extremism. In the party's program held on Tuesday in Tikapur, Kailali, Pun said that the party's policy is that all the oppressed, classes, regions, castes and communities should have equal rights in the state.

Pun said that monopolists and capitalists make false accusations when the party determines policies in favor of the oppressed.

'The oppressed castes, classes and communities have not received anything, the ultra-racist thinking that tries to provoke that the situation is the same as yesterday and the status quo tendency that tries to surrender that everything has been achieved,' he said. We have proceeded with the policy of taking ownership of the achievements and empowering more through the socialist republic.'

Pun said that the republic was established in the country by organizing and uniting the oppressed people of backward areas such as workers, farmers, laborers, women, Dalits, tribes, Madhesi, Tharu community, Karnali and Far West.

Pun still defended the achievements of the movement and said that strong unity between the oppressed class and community is necessary to achieve more achievements. He said that the Maoists believe that oppressed communities should be united against ethnic extremism and narrow-mindedness of the rulers.

'We are not racist and extremist . Our policy is that there should be mutual unity, harmony and equal rights among all castes and communities of Nepal. Pahari and Madhesi fighters are racist and extremist. "Maoist is the party of all oppressed castes, tribes and classes, including hills, Madhesi, Tharu," Pun said.
