Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the responsibility of protecting, using and developing the political rights obtained by the blood and sweat of the Maoists and the leadership of the Maoists belongs to the Maoists.

During the inauguration of the fourth national conference of Tharu Rashtriya Mukti Morcha Nepal, which started today in Tikapur of Kailali, President Dahal said that the rights of the oppressed community have been ensured through the movement. 

"Federal Democratic Republic has been achieved through the people's self-sacrificing movement, it has ensured the rights of the oppressed communities and regions," President Dahal said. Corrupt and brokers are taking away people's rights under various pretexts, it is the Maoist's responsibility to defeat all such conspiracies and protect the rights obtained by the people, we will not be disturbed anywhere, we will move forward with firm commitment.' Claiming that Shakti is a Maoist, he urged others not to be misled. "Maoists have led the Tharu community from awakening to ensuring their rights," he said, "now I express my commitment to establish the Maoists as a strong national power and institutionalize the rest of the Tharu community's rights."
