The shooting in Tokha on Sunday has added a new dimension to the investigation of the Nepal Police. Especially when the police hesitated in the investigation due to the serial killing on the charge of dealing in fake Indian notes, they opened fire to arrest Guddu Patel, who was absconding on the same charge. Bablu Paswan, another accused in the murder that took place two and a half years ago, and three associates have already been arrested.

It is believed that the Indian intelligence agency "RAW" was involved in the murders of MP Mirza Dilsad Wegh in 2055, communication entrepreneur Jamim Shah in 2066, businessman Abdul Majid of Nepalgunj in 2066, and Faizan Ahmed, secretary general of the Islamic Association in 2068, but the Nepal Police's investigation is incomplete. In the meantime, even though dozens of murders have been going on on the charge of dealing in fake Indian notes, the Nepal Police is becoming oblivious. However, the police are arresting the accused for the murder of Lal Mohammad Ansari, who has a background in dealing in fake Indian notes.

Patel, who lives in the Indian border town of Raxaul, is accused of creating terror of kidnapping and extortion in the Nepal-India border area. Investigators claim that Bablu Paswan and Guddu Patel were used by the Indian intelligence agency 'RAW' to kill Lal Mohammad Ansari. Paswan was arrested last May. Three associates were arrested after the incident.

The police claim that Patel was arrested by firing a shot in the neck. He was shot in the right leg and is being treated at the trauma center. The police have also been using the 'game' of arresting them from the border area and showing that they have been arrested in Kathmandu.

Ansari, who ran a garment industry in Gothatar, was killed on October 24, 2079 in the industrial premises. Ansari, believed to be a dealer in fake notes, was attacked and killed for the second time in a week and a half two and a half years ago. The first time he suffered only minor injuries. He filed a complaint saying that there was a physical attack and that he was unsafe. However, he did not want to tell who he was unprotected from, he was killed before reaching 10 days,'' the police said at that time. The 57-year-old Ansari, who was seriously injured after being shot by two people on a motorcycle, was first taken to Shankharapur Hospital and later to the University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, where doctors declared him dead shortly after.

The police had information that Ansari was under the surveillance of the Indian intelligence agency for allegedly being involved in the fake Indian currency trade. On June 20, 2064, Ansari and Pappu Gupta were arrested for shooting dead Balram Patuwa of Bara in Anamnagar, Dhobikhola Corridor. The police investigation confirmed that Ansari also committed the murder in collusion with Iltaf Hussain.

If Iltaf managed to escape for the time being, the Kathmandu District Court convicted Ansari and Gupta and imprisoned them on July 9, 2064. He was released on June 25, 2073 after spending nine years in jail. The police received information that he was involved in fake note transactions before and after going to jail.

Ansari's relationship and closeness with gangs in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Dubai were revealed in the investigations of the Counter-Terrorism Directorate of the police and later the Special Bureau.

Ansari, a permanent resident of Sarlahi's Goudaita Municipality-10 Manharwa, was also running a ready-made garment industry after his release from prison. He was known by the names Lal Mohammad, Lal Ansari, Lal Thapaji and others.

Iltaf, who was arrested in July 2077 in the gold smuggling case, was charged with money laundering. A case was registered against him in the year 2068 in the Kathmandu District Court for circulation of fake currency. According to the police, he used to identify himself as Munna Khan, Altaf Ansari, Sadrul Ansari in fake currency transactions. The police also filed a case against him for signing the government seal. According to the judgment filed on July 16, 2068 and on October 20, 2069, he was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of Rs 50.

Nepal Police officials say that the Indian intelligence agency is also deploying notorious criminals in its operations. However, some have been making themselves great by wearing the shell of 'Indian nationalism'. "Underworld" Don Chhota Rajan, claiming to have killed MP Mirza Dilsad Wegh, had been warning India's enemies to do the same.

Similarly, Bablu Srivastava, who claims to have killed Jamim Shah on 24 January 2066, has claimed that the Indian intelligence agency has held him responsible for this. "Hitman" Lucky Bist of "RAW" has also revealed this fact through books and interviews.

The series of murders on charges of dealing in counterfeit notes has been going on for years. On October 19, 2066, Abdul Majid Manihar, a businessman from Nepalgunj, was shot dead. The involvement of Manmeet Bhatia, alias Manmeet Singh, a notorious Indian criminal, was revealed in the murder. He was the one who tried to kill Younis Ansari inside the Central Jail. He was arrested by the police from outside the prison.

Similarly, Faizan Ahmed, Secretary General of the Islamic Association, was killed in a clock tower in Kathmandu. Similarly, on October 4, 2075, the school director of Sunsari, Khurshid Alam, was shot dead. Nepal Police has not been able to reach the depth of investigation in such cases.
