Shankar Pokhrel, the general secretary of UML, the party leading the government, said that the process should be carried out after discussions with local people's representatives, administration and interested groups regarding the dispute regarding the construction of the Pathibhara cable car.
He said that the central secretariat meeting held at the party central office on Sunday took this decision. Narrating the decisions of the
meeting, General Secretary Pokharel said that the party is interested in discussing with the stakeholders to advance the cable car construction process. He said, "The party is interested in solving the problem and creating a comfortable environment for the construction process by discussing with the people's representatives, administration and stakeholders regarding the dispute arising in connection with the construction of the famous Pathibhara cable car in Taplejung," he said, "It has been decided to draw the attention of the concerned parties to end the dispute and create a comfortable environment."
