Strict action will be taken against those involved in the Siraha incident: Home Minister Author

Minister of Home Affairs Ramesh Akhtar has expressed his commitment to take strict action against those involved in the death of 17-year-old Rinkukumari Sada in Siraha's Navrajpur Rural Municipality.

Responding to the questions raised by the MPs in today's meeting of the National Assembly, the Home Minister said, 'No matter how many people are involved in the incident of Rinku Sada, I express my commitment to actively search for people involved in crime, investigate and take strict action according to the law.'

'On 30th January 2081, Ringkukumari, who lives in Navrapur rural municipality-1 of Siraha, was found dead in her house, and in connection with that, a complaint was filed against Rupesh Mandal, who lives in the same ward and is known as Tinku, who lives in the same ward for the crime of abetment of suicide,' the minister said. 

The minister also informed that on the 8th of February, a supplementary complaint has been received on behalf of the deceased's mother against eight persons who were abducted and kept under their control and forcibly killed by a group of people and tried to make a settlement through the Panchayat.

Mentioning that three people involved in the panchayat were arrested and the legal process was proceeding, he informed the Parliament that arrest warrants had been issued for eight people mentioned in the supplementary complaint. He said that the police is actively searching for the culprit to be arrested and brought to justice as soon as possible.
