Chairman of Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged that the game of reversal is being played in the name of the amendment of the constitution obtained from the sacrifices of the people.

Addressing a public meeting held at the Siraha headquarters on Friday as part of the Maoist Terai-Madhesh public awakening campaign, he said that efforts to overturn the constitution obtained from the foundation of the ten-year people's war and the people's movement will not be allowed to succeed. "Right now, the parties in the government are going to restrict the rights of the Nepalese people by talking about amending the constitution and establishing a two-party system. We will not allow the game of overturning this constitution obtained by the sacrifice of the people to be successful,' said President Dahal.

He said that they have started the Hulaki campaign to re-establish deep relations with the Madhesi people by correcting the shortcomings of the past. Stating that his party is always committed to the Madhesi people and for the self-respect of the Madhesi people, President Dahal recalled that the Madhesi government was formed by the Maoists to establish the rights of the Madhesi people during the people's war and the Madhesi National Liberation Front was formed within the party.

Former Prime Minister Dahal, while discussing the reconstruction of the dilapidated postal highway, claimed that he had first spoken to India as the Prime Minister and advanced the process of building the postal route. Similarly, he was committed to make continuous efforts for the construction of Choharwa-Sirha, Sirha-Kalyanpur-Mirchaiya roads, and the upgrading of Madar Customs. In addition to this, the party will continue to support the construction process of the broken bridge of the Kamala river connecting Sirha and Dhanusha under the Hulaki Highway. We will take initiative for this,' Dahal said.  Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Mahendra Rai Yadav, Maoist Party Deputy General Secretary Matrik Prasad Yadav, Standing Committee Member Vishwanath Shah and others addressed the

program. District in-charge Ajayshankar Nayak presided over the program conducted by central member Jagat Prasad Yadav.
