This hard of hearing couple, who got to know each other through social media only two months ago, has tied the knot.

Anusuya Pokhrel of Dhankuta Municipality-6 Atmara and Sanjok Mishra of Suryagarhi-2 in Nuwakot tied the knot on Wednesday. A marriage ceremony was held on the Ratri Lagna . Locals say that the night marriage took place after about a decade and a half in the district .

The people watching this couple in the wedding hall looked very curious. There was a considerable crowd of relatives and guests who had gathered. The bride and groom used to talk to each other in sign language and gestures. Sangeeta Chapagai, who was observing the marriage program, said that this marriage was fun even though she had seen many marriages. She said, "I saw such an interesting marriage for the first time in my life." It is also a positive message for society.' 

The groom in traditional dress and dubo garlands and the bride in sarees and garlands were on the ground . The priest was teaching Jagge's ritual through sign language. Both of them seemed to be playing their roles easily without any confusion. The bride's father Sanjeev himself was deployed to help the priest. "The bride and groom easily understood the method of Jagge through sign language," he said.

They were connected to the Facebook group messenger for the hearing impaired. They started chatting on their own messengers from two months ago. In a short period of time, Anusuya wrote and informed that they have reached the decision to tie the knot after expressing their loving words and feelings through Facebook.  Isara is enough in love Her mother, Devi, said that interest grew after her daughter told her that she liked a boy last December. "After my daughter said she liked it, we informed the boy's side about it," she said.

Boy side came to Dhankuta last month from Nuwakot to see the girl . Achyut Prasad Mishra, the father of the bridegroom, says that he was happy when his son found a girl he loved when he was anxious to tie the knot with his only child. We were looking for a bride who can handle household chores,' he said, 'I feel like I got a daughter-in-law as expected.'

When Anusuya was 7 months old, the family found out that she was deaf. Mother Devi says that she has been practicing speaking on her own recently and has been saying words such as mother, uncle, father.  They also say some words in conjunction with

 . However, despite the family's best efforts through treatment, both of them cannot hear. Both the families are optimistic that the future of both of them will be bright if they are educated and have family culture.
