An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale occurred on Friday morning with its epicenter around Bhairavkund in Sindhupalchok district.

According to the Nepal Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, the earthquake occurred at 2:51 am.

The shock of the earthquake was felt in various parts of the country including Kathmandu valley and also in India including Darjeeling.

So far the details of the damage  Nothing came .

Nimasona Sherpa, the ward president of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality 3, Dugunagadhi, which was the epicenter of the earthquake, said that the locals came out of their houses after the shock of the earthquake. He said, 'There has been no information about human casualties.'
