Mothers who don't miss school

Rajthani Gurung, 57, is often on the same bench as her grandson-age classmate Himansu Sirmal. On Sunday, Rajthani taught Himansu to write after breaking the letters of the alphabet and copying them.

She is enrolled in class 1 at Srikrishna Basic School in Pokharathok, Gorkha Municipality-6, and does not miss classes as much as possible. Every day, she reaches school, which is an hour's walk away, by reading a copybook.

Barpak Sulikot-4 Saurpani, Rajthani, whose house was started, started living in Gorkha Bazar after the earthquake of Baisakh 12, 2072. "In the market, it's like you don't know anything, you don't come to write your name, you have to give your mobile phone to others if you have to call," she said, "I joined school thinking I had to learn."

She is able to break letters and write names within 10 months. "Sometimes you have to come in a hurry after finishing the housework, Sir, when you come after going to class, you will feel very namazja," she said, "not even without doing household work."

"I can't see my eyes in the evening, my heart burns when I remember my homework, I finish my homework early and then I do the housework," she said. He has four daughters and three sons. "My two sons dropped out after 5th grade, the youngest has returned to Malaysia after completing 9th grade," she said.

Similar to Rajthani, 13 women in the age group of 35 to 65 years have been enrolled in Krishna Basic School in the current academic session. Even the teachers are amazed by the passion they show in their studies. The school admits students from 1st to 3rd grade by measuring their level of education. 6/6 people study in class 1 and 2 and 1 person in class 3.

49-year-old Junmaya Gurung of Barpak Sulikot-1 was practicing spelling well on Sunday. "It's not that you're lazy, you know when you're studying and practicing," she said. "Before, I couldn't read, it was customary to make my daughter do housework rather than teaching," she said. At that time, those who went a little bit have been placed in two classes. Now I feel like I have learned a lot.'

35-year-old Lal Kumari Ghale of Dharche-3 Uhia, studying in class 2, wants to study up to higher education. "I couldn't see school when I was little, I'm still half my age, I won't leave school now," she says, "My family also helps me to come to school." "After eating, both mother and daughter do homework," she said. Last academic session, 18 mothers were enrolled in Srikrishna Avi. Principal Ram Bahadur Achhami says that 13 of them did not leave the class.

"Last year also 5 mothers/sisters passed class 5, two of them are studying class 6, this year 13 are regulars," he said, "They come on time, stay in the class until the holidays, we are also surprised to see their attachment."
