Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has taken the proposal to remove the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising from the post.

According to sources in the Ministry of Energy, the proposal prepared on Sunday is being formally presented in Monday's meeting. The proposal was taken at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwater.

State Minister for Energy Purna Bahadur Tamang has expressed anger that Energy Minister Khadka tried to remove Executive Director Ghising unilaterally. Tamang says that he should not do whatever he gets while being a government minister and Kulman should not be removed. I have heard that the proposal has been taken to the Cabinet today. It is a proposal taken by another (Minister Khadka), not by me," State Minister Tamang said.

State Minister Tamang says that he is in favor of not removing Ghising as the executive director of the Electricity Authority. 'I am in favor of not removing Kulman . The government is also made by the people. We have been honored by people voting for us. Can Kulman who is in favor of the people be removed?,' Tamang said, 'My point is that Kulman should be kept.' Please ask Minister Khadka about the removal.'

State Minister Tamang said that Khadka, who is a minister in the government, has caused grief to Ghising .

When asked by Kantipur whether the minister took that step after Ghising did not stop, State Minister Tamang said, 'Kulman should have washed the dishes of a government man (Minister Deepak Khadka) ? Sometimes asking for 6 point explanation, sometimes asking for 15 point explanation, sometimes asking for 9 point explanation Which state is it? Which system is ? Can you do whatever you want if you say you are in the government?'

Tamang says that he has a clear stand in the Ministry of Energy that Ghising should not be removed. Minister of State Tamang also said that he did not have anything to do with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba regarding the removal of Ghising.

Ghising's tenure is ending on July 25, 2082 . Energy Minister Khadka is trying to remove Ghising from the post immediately. Energy Minister Khadka proposed to remove Ghisingh in the previous cabinet meeting. However, no decision was taken on the proposal.
