Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that men should not be the only ones to step forward for social development and women should also be given the same rights and opportunities as men.
Deputy Prime Minister Singh stressed on the need to protect women's rights in all areas at the event of Nepal Muslim Association Madhesh Province on Monday. He said that women of the Muslim community should get the education they want.
He said that the role of the Muslim Union is important in removing the distortions in the society and moving the Congress party forward by winning the hearts of the people. In the Muslim community, men have done well in education. I think that the Muslim Association will do well to create an environment where women can get education as they want. "Men should not move forward, women and men should move together for the development of society," he said.
Singh suggested to ensure the participation of women in all the committees of the Muslim Association.
Similarly, Singh said that the Congress will fulfill the people's desire to make life and livelihood easy. He said that the work of making the life and livelihood of the citizens easier, like the right movement, will also be done under the leadership of the Congress.
'The necessary laws should be made to make the life and livelihood of every Nepali easy by quickly making the rights given by the Constitution of 2072 to everyone equally,' Deputy Prime Minister Singh said, 'Political, economic and social issues cannot be resolved without political stability.'
