Maoist Vice President Agni Prasad Sapkota has accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of trying to dissolve Parliament.  In a press center session in Kathmandu, Vice President Sapkota said that KP Oli's desire to dissolve parliament and go to mid-term elections and get a majority will not be fulfilled.

They can still reduce major incidents. Again, I emphasize that the House was dissolved twice when I was Speaker. Even today, this government and the prime minister of this government are aiming in that direction. "What does he think about this ordinance that has been dissolved twice?" he said.

Vice President Sapkota said that the parliament, which voices the voice of the people, has been idle for 23 days by the government  He also said that he made it. Similarly, he claimed that the government tried to remove the executive officer of the Electricity Authority and the employees working in the field of good governance by harassing them, but the government backed down because they were with the people.
