More than two dozen people were injured in the clash between the "No Cable Car Group" and the security personnel in the capital Fungling on Saturday evening. 4 of the injured have been referred to Taplejung District Hospital for further treatment.

Kirtiman Maden, the leader of the protesting group, informed them that they were taken to Ghopa in Dharan.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ravi Rawal, 12 people were injured on the side of the security personnel. One of them has been sent outside the district while the other is being treated at the district hospital. Rawal said that there is preliminary information about the same number of agitating groups.

Maden said that there is no accurate data because the clashes took place during the night and some of the districts were being treated outside. Among those arrested are Naveen Pomu, who is leading the movement. But the police did not disclose the name.

The police said that they had to fire 2 rounds of tear gas on Saturday evening to control Hull Hujjat. The agitating party has accused them of inhuman behavior such as raiding the houses and hotels where the agitators were staying, arresting them, vandalizing them, and beating them. Pradeep Maden, another leader of the protest group, has claimed that 27 people have been arrested.

The local administration has issued a prohibitory order on Saturday (today) from 5 am to Kaflepati in Pathibhara area and Charkilla area in Baludada area . In the evening, the situation became tense with the rally organized by the No Kewalkar party in Fungling and the clash after the demonstration.

The situation became abnormal when the protesting group, who came to Fungling after the march in Pathibhara area, took out a procession with ranks and threw flames at the houses.
