After the first historic convention held in Kathmandu last January 27-29, the full meeting of the Central Committee of Nepal Samajwadi Party (New Power) has started in Kathmandu on Saturday.

In the meeting that will last until tomorrow, the central members elected by the convention have been sworn in. In the meeting, discussions on ideological political direction and organizational principles, systems, party code of conduct and procedures have started. The meeting will discuss the formation of various central councils and commissions, the review of the first historic national convention of the party, the upcoming action plan and contemporary proposals related to building the party through movement. In the

meeting, Vice President Ishwar Rizal presented the code of conduct to be followed by officers and members. Secretary Lakshnam Karki submitted a proposal about the 3-month organization expansion and strengthening campaign. Similarly, General Secretary Sonamsin Syangtan expressed his views on organizational principles and systems.

Party vice-president Manushi Yami Bhattarai informed that the main decision of the party will be made tomorrow.

The Central Working Committee of NESP New Power has 99 members.
